The Cabinhopping Series includes a number of 5-7 day trips that happen simultaneously throughout the White Mountains during December.

CH1 and CH2 hike the Appalachian Trail from Holt's Ledge (the Dartmouth Skiway) to Mt. Moosilauke, staying at CnT cabins along the way. The Frozen Fifty (50 miles) treks from Hanover all the way over Mt. Moosilauke, also on the AT. WHEATSTARCH (christened in 2010 and run for the second time in 2011), or Winter Hiking Extravaganza At The Same Time As Regular Cabin Hopping, is a week-long excursion that makes Billings Cabin on the north side of the Presidentials its base camp. Wheatstarch runs multiple hikes each day throughout the Whites, returning to a warm and cozy cabin each evening for a delicious hot dinner.
